We are a proud partner of Carbonzero.
Through this partnership, we calculate and offset the carbon emissions associated with our business travel, events, and operational activities. These offsets directly support verified projects that reduce greenhouse gas emissions—such as reforestation, renewable energy, and methane capture—helping us actively contribute to the fight against climate change.
We are Greenstep Gold Certifed.
The Culinary Tourism Alliance underwent a comprehensive assessment and achieved a Gold Sustainable Tourism Certification. The process included a one-on-one review of our organization's practices with a GreenStep Assessor to determine how we’re doing against their Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) recognized criteria.
We are aware of the areas where we have opportunities for improvement, and are using the resources from GreenStep to inform our tactical plans for continued success on our sustainability journey. Certification requires reassessment every two years and we're aiming for Platinum by 2028!
