Food is Nicole’s centrepiece for intentional gratitude - a medium for discovery and a way to connect to her family traditions, her favourite people, and her favourite places. As the “go-to” gal for planning all culinary travel experiences for her friends and family, Nicole is thrilled to bring her personal passions to her professional life in her role at the CTA.
With over a decade of experience in tourism, marketing, and partnership development, Nicole leads with a collaborative spirit and a strong operational lens. She got her start at the Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory, where she quickly discovered the joy of helping visitors make meaningful memories. Since then, she’s brought her creative energy and strategic mindset to renowned tourism organizations including Explore Waterloo Region, Huronia Historical Parks, and Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest. She’s helped bring award-winning experiences like the Mistletoe Trail to life, always with a focus on storytelling and impact.
As VP of Operations & Partnerships at the CTA, she guides projects, nurtures relationships, and ensures the organization’s work supports sustainable growth for communities across Canada. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Attractions Ontario and the Tourism Industry Association of Canada.
